Mikel Washington, is a freelance Art Director and Designer, was born and raised in New York with a background in performance art, specializing in dance and theater. Mikel cultivated his design skills working at various interactive agencies and dot-coms, like Organic Interactive and Big Foot. Mikel learned to roll with the punches of the dot-com bust while working at the Silicon Alley Reporter and graduated to designer at BET Digital, Young & Rubicam, indelible, Scoop NYC, Bluefly and The New York Times. Currently freelancing, Mikel is living and thriving in Harlem USA.
